Kara-Murza announced the ban of investigators to call children from the pre-trial detention center

Oppositionist Vladimir Kara-Murza (recognized as an individual acting as a foreign agent) said that the investigators forbade him to call children from the pre-trial detention center.
Kara-Murza is being held in a detention center on charges of treason and spreading fake news about the Russian army.
The defendant wrote on his Twitter account that he was forbidden to talk on the phone with his children, Kommersant reports.
The oppositionist referred to a document from the investigator, which states that talking to children “may pose a real threat to due process.”
Kara-Murza said that he had not heard from the children since April. In one of his posts on the social network, he wrote that he did not know what investigators consider more dangerous: if his “eldest daughter tells … about her new driver’s license; if… the youngest daughter shares news from her dance school; or if… the son says what songs he teaches to play the guitar.
Kara-Murza has been in custody since spring. He does not admit guilt and states that in his words there was only open criticism without any threat to the security of Russia.
Earlier it was reported that, according to investigators, an oppositionist in the Arizona House of Representatives “motivated by political hatred” announced “deliberately false information about the use of the Russian Armed Forces to bomb residential areas, maternity hospitals, hospitals and schools” in Ukraine.
