Olympic champion Kamila Valieva won the sixth and final stage of the Russian Figure Skating Grand Prix. The competition took place in Moscow at the Megasport arena.
Based on the results of two programs, Valieva scored 226.22 points – 81.27 for the short program + 144.95 for the free program, during which the skater fell while performing a quadruple jump and a triple lutz. Veronika Yametova took second place with 212.75 points, third place went to Sofya Muravyova with 210.25 points.
The final of the Grand Prix series will be held from February 15 to 18, 2024 as part of the All-Russian Winter Spartakiad of the strongest athletes in Magnitogorsk.
17-year-old Kamila Valieva is an Olympic champion in the 2022 team competition in Beijing, and a European champion. The figure skater is the winner of the Grand Prix stages of Skate Canada 2021 and Rostelecom Cup 2021.
