Kaluga athlete Vladimir Dosyak became a bronze medalist at the World Sambo Championship. A student of the Olympic reserve sports school “Yunost” entered the top three in the weight category over 98 kg.
As the Ministry of Sports of the Kaluga Region reported on Monday, October 9, the final day of the main international start of the season for members of the Russian youth team ended on Sunday in Bishkek. The competition brought together more than 500 athletes from 28 countries.
According to the results of the competition, Russian sambo wrestlers topped the medal standings, winning 35 medals – 28 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze.
Let us add that the winner studied with the Honored Trainer of Russia Vladimir Kutin and the Honored Master of Sports in Sambo Tatyana Papushina.
