Kaluga residents brought two bronze medals from the national championship. The Russian Championship in Sports for the Blind and the Russian Cup in Sports for Persons with ASD – the discipline – powerlifting – ended in Yekaterinburg, the regional Ministry of Sports reported on Tuesday, October 3.
In the championship arena, 60 candidates from 23 constituent entities of the Russian Federation competed for awards. Thus, representatives of the Everest sports and adaptive school Andrey Evsyukov in the 67.5 kg weight category and Dmitry Erokhin in the 75 kg weight category won bronze.
In addition, Konstantin Surnin in the sport of the blind and Roman Malakhov in the sport of persons with disabilities stopped just a few steps away from the podium.
