Kalmyk athletes won medals at the Southern Federal District championship

The Kalmykia sambo team successfully performed at the championship of the Southern Federal District.
It was held in Armavir from April 3 to 5. The competition was held among boys and girls under 14 years old. More than 500 athletes from all regions of the Southern Federal District competed. Ksenia Kravtsova from Kalmykia won the 37 kg weight category.
Silver medals were won by Zayana Bazanova, Veronika Mukobenova and Savr Bambaev. Nikita Gladkov, Arslang Burundaev and Lari Mantyshev took third place. The next tournament will be the Russian Championship, which will be held from May 29 to June 3 in Mozhaisk.
