Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has said she will remain in her post after the Russian-related business scandal of her husband Arvo Hallik. According to her, the ruling coalition supports her, writes Bloomberg.
“Now I’m sure of it… My coalition partners have confirmed this,” Kallas said.
Recall, recently it became known that Stark Logistics, partly owned by Kallas’ husband, continues to carry out cargo transportation to Russia. This caused a wave of criticism against the prime minister, the opposition demanded her resignation. Kallas also said that the activities of Stark Logistics in Russia were terminated. Her husband also revealed last week that he had sold all his shares in the company and stepped down from its board.
