Kaliningrad tennis players brought home bronze at the Russian Championship for the first time

Kaliningrad athletes took bronze at the Russian tennis championship among boys under 12 years old in the team event.
The competition took place in the Samara region from October 3 to October 8. Kaliningrad athletes played six matches, consisting of two singles games and one doubles.
Kirill Gutuev and Platon Gripich won bronze, winning ten matches and losing six. A similar result at a competition of this level has not been recorded since the last century, said the Ministry of Sports of the Kaliningrad Region.
Synchronized swimmer from Kaliningrad earlier came in to the International Swimming Hall of Fame in the United States. The ranking also includes Japanese, Chinese and French athletes.
