The Kaliningrad region is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014.
According to the press service of the government of the Kaliningrad region, events dedicated to the anniversary of the games will be held in the region until February 17. At the opening there were demonstration performances in the ice arena of the Kaliningrad Pioneer stadium.
As part of the festive events, competitions, master classes and lectures will be held. The final starts of the Russian Winter Swimming Federation Cup stage will be Saturday.
Previously “MK in Kaliningrad” reportedthat Ekaterina Velichko from Baltiysk became the bronze medalist of the Russian Sports Sambo Championship. The competitions were held in the Far East.
