According to the press service of the government of the Kaliningrad region, in June the Republic of Tatarstan hosted international competitions in national Tatar belt wrestling. Played 27 sets of awards in different weight categories.
Maxim Khomutov, a representative of the Reco-Roman style from the Kaliningrad Olympic Reserve School, competed in the weight category up to 110 kilograms. He defeated an opponent from Uzbekistan, but lost to a more experienced opponent from Tatarstan.
