The mother and wife of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, received awards from the Luhansk People’s Republic, Kadyrov himself said in his Telegram channel.
Aimani and Medni Kadyrov hold the posts of president and vice-president of the Regional Public Fund named after the first president of the Chechen Republic Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov. The head of Chechnya said that the head of the LPR, Leonid Pasechnik, by decree of September 12, awarded them state awards of the republic.
Kadyrov said that the awards are “a well-deserved recognition of the large-scale humanitarian mission that the Foundation is conducting in the Donbass.” As part of the fund’s activities, LDNR received tens of thousands of tons of humanitarian aid, and the wounded and sick are treated on the territory of the Russian Federation.
The awards were handed out on Saturday. In August, Kadyrov was awarded the title of Hero of the LPR.
