Kadyrov said the senselessness of peace talks on Ukraine

There is no point in negotiations on a peaceful settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, declared Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in his Telegram channel.

He stressed that representatives of different countries are increasingly talking about negotiations and proposing a plan for resolving the conflict. However, according to Kadyrov, this process is needed only by the side that recognizes its “disaster situation”, and Russia is not one of them.

“That is why I believe that there is no point in negotiations. We are not satisfied with this arrangement. We are winning on all fronts, both on the battlefield and in the international political arena,” Kadyrov wrote.

The head of Chechnya also stressed that the West’s plan to impose sanctions to destroy the Russian economy failed, Russia, on the contrary, was able to modernize the economy.

On August 7, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak declaredthat in “the current disposition there can be no negotiation process.” According to him, a ceasefire and freezing of the conflict in Ukraine in the current alignment of forces will mean a victory for Russia.

The Kremlin has repeatedly reported that Moscow sees no prerequisites for negotiations. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier that with the participation of Kyiv and its current negotiating position, it is impossible to reach a peaceful settlement of the conflict. Currently, Ukraine has a law that prohibits negotiations with the Russian side.

The day before the newspaper L’Orient-Le Jour informedthat the President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zeid Al Nahyan plans to organize a meeting of the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky in Dubai. According to the publication, Nahyan wants to arrange a meeting of leaders at the UN climate conference COP28, which is scheduled from November 30 to December 12.
