Kadyrov criticized the decision of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation to ban “Sahih al-Bukhari”

The head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, is dissatisfied with the fact that the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation is included in the register of extremist materials “Sahih al-Bukhari” – a reliable source of the biography of the Prophet Muhammad, which Muslim scholars recognize as the second most important after the Holy Quran.

Kadyrov recalled that earlier the court of Tatarstan requested an examination of these materials, including from specialists from the Moscow Islamic University. “The inaction and absolute indifference of the so-called theologians led to the fact that the court eventually turned to incompetent expertise. And now millions of Russian Muslims are at a loss: how to practice religion if canonical religious publications are being banned in the country?” Kadyrov stressed.

He also cited Europe as an example, where, according to him, cartoons of the prophet and rallies against hijabs led to the degradation of society. “The reasons why thousands of Muslims today are on the fronts of confrontation with Europe on Ukrainian soil is the fight against Satanism and the protection of religious values,” the head of Chechnya said.

Kadyrov added that he hoped that the administration of the President of the Russian Federation would pay attention to this court verdict. He believes that it is necessary to attract competent theologians.
