The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, confirmed the information about the abduction of his horse in the Czech Republic. As previously reported, 16-year-old Zazu was arrested by the Czech authorities as the property of a sanctioned person, and in early March it became known about the kidnapping of a stallion. Local police reported that the horse was taken away on the night of March 4. The cost of the animal was estimated at almost 400,000 Czech crowns (about $19,000).
“I ask you not to belittle the value of my horse,” Kadyrov said in his Telegram channel. “A purebred Zazu costs at least $10 million.”
Kadyrov also expressed doubt that ordinary horse thieves stole the animal: “Stupid to steal a sanctioned horse, and cunning so that the police do not find them. I don’t believe it.” According to him, it is strange that the valuable property arrested was so poorly guarded.
“In our republic, a car can be left open at night,” Kadyrov also said. “And then someone takes the sanctioned horse out of the paddock.”
