Kadyrov called on the governors to conduct “self-mobilization” in the regions

Russian governors should begin “self-mobilization” in the regions under their control in order to help the state and Russian troops participating in a special operation in Ukraine. With such an opinion spoke Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in his Telegram channel.

“Russia is a federal state in which the regions can be the initiators of any undertakings. And one of these initiatives today should be “self-mobilization,” he wrote.

Kadyrov believes that the heads of the regions should not wait for the declaration of martial law in Russia, or sit back, waiting for the end of the special operation.

“The head of each subject of Russia today must prove his readiness to help the state. And this help should not be expressed in verbal speeches or banal car races, but in concrete actions that will help the fighters, ”he added.

According to the head of Chechnya, each leader of the region is able to train at least 1,000 volunteers to participate in a special operation, which will amount to a grouping of 85,000 military men throughout the country – “almost an army.”

“The issue of solving the tasks of the special operation could be closed in the shortest possible time. And all this, mind you, without the announcement of mobilization. I know from experience that in our country there are enough sincere patriots who are ready to join the ranks of volunteers,” he concluded.

Earlier this week Kadyrov declared on the return of Chechen elite units to the special operation zone in Ukraine and the DPR. Prior to that, he spoke about sending two Chechen units to the NVO zone: the Sever regiment and the South battalion of the Russian National Guard.

On September 12, a member of the State Duma Committee on Security, Mikhail Sheremet, made a statement that it is necessary to mobilize in Russia – without this, in his opinion, it will not be possible to achieve a complete victory for Russia in a special military operation in Ukraine. The next day, Russian presidential press secretary Dvitry Peskov informed about the absence of the Kremlin’s plans to announce mobilization in the country.

Mobilization in Russia has never been carried out. It implies not only conscription for military service, but also the transfer of the economy and authorities “to work in wartime conditions.” In the event that mobilization is announced, all Russians in reserve are required to report to assembly points within the time limits specified in the mobilization certificate.
