Kadyrov announced the transfer of former medical workers of the Wagner PMC to Akhmat

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the Akhmat special forces included former medical workers of the private military company (PMC) Wagner. The commander of the Russian Guard unit based in Chechnya, Apty Alaudinov, met with them. “Following the impressive group of former fighters of the Wagner PMC, the ranks of the Akhmat special forces were also replenished by medical workers who were previously part of the same military formation,” the head of Chechnya wrote in Telegram channel.

Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and Communications Alexander Khinshtein today, November 1, reported, that information about the inclusion of former units of the Wagner PMC into the Russian Guard is unreliable. At the same time, he noted that PMC fighters can enter into contracts with the Russian Guard on an individual basis.
