The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that the volunteer fighter Kirgiz Musakhanov, who was captured during the hostilities in Ukraine, was released.
According to Kadyrov, in captivity Musakhanov was “tried to use for political purposes” and “attributed to himself his salvation,” but these attempts were unsuccessful.
In the near future, the fighter will return home, the head of Chechnya said in his Telegram channel. He also said that Musakhanov did not leave as a volunteer through the Chechen Republic.
“The main slogan of all Akhmat units is ‘We don’t abandon our own!’,” Kadyrov wrote.
