Apty Alaudinov, commander of the Akhmat special forces, was poisoned a few days ago, and now nothing threatens his life. About it informed Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in his Telegram channel.
“Hero of Russia, Assistant to the Head of the Chechen Republic, Commander of the Akhmat Special Forces and Deputy Commander of the 2nd Army Corps (People’s Militia of the LPR. – Vedomosti) Apty Alaudinov, was poisoned a few days ago. Looking ahead, I will reassure him: everything is fine with him now, nothing threatens his life and health,” the message says.
According to Kadyrov, it all happened on February 8, when Alaudinov’s adjutant received a letter for the general. “It turned out that the letter was saturated with a poisonous substance. Apty Aronovich understood this by the caustic specific smell and took measures in time: he cleaned his hands and washed his nasal cavity. The general’s adjutants, who had contact with the envelope, did the same,” the head of Chechnya wrote.
Now Alaudinov and two adjutants are being treated in Moscow. In addition, Kadyrov said that the results of the investigation into who was involved in the incident are already available.
Until 2021, Alaudinov served as Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Chechnya. In August, he was awarded the title of Hero of Russia and Hero of the LPR. In November 2022, Alaudinov was appointed Deputy Commander of the 2nd Army Corps of the People’s Militia of the LPR.
