Chechen fighters destroyed Ukrainian saboteurs near Belgorod, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, wrote in his Telegram channel.
“Our units destroyed another sabotage group in the border area in the Belgorod direction,” he said.
According to him, the saboteurs tried to hide in one of the abandoned buildings and set up a firing position. “Aerial reconnaissance quickly identified their location, and artillery, in turn, quickly eliminated the enemy,” Kadyrov wrote, noting that thanks to coordinated work, it was possible to prevent Ukrainian saboteurs from breaking through into Russian territory.
