The North Caucasus Federal District judo championship among boys under 18 years old was held on October 6-8 in Nazran, and brought together more than 540 athletes from seven regions of the district.

The Karachay-Cherkessia team has three medals of various denominations and five tickets to the national championship: Stefania Kirillova 1st place, Roman Shovkan 2nd place, Amir Fartov 3rd place, Alan Botashev and Alan Kaziev in the top 5, reports press service of the republican government.

Athletes who took 1st-5th places received the right to compete at the Russian Judo Championship, which will be held in November in Barnaul.
