Judge who criticized Russian missile version in MH17 case resigns in The Hague
The judge of the District Court of The Hague, who previously criticized the position of the prosecution in the case of the downing of flight MH17 in Ukraine in July 2014, has resigned. It is known that she was practically against the version put forward. It is reported by the Netherlands Broadcasting Corporation.
According to the channel, the judge considered the conclusions of the Dutch Security Council and the prosecutor’s office in this case “deliberate concealment”, and some points even “manipulation and lies.”
In addition, the woman’s brother published a book in which he wrote that the Malaysian Boeing was not shot down by a Russian missile. The judge handed over the papers to the court representatives involved in the MH17 case.
The Supreme Court issued a written reprimand to her, noting that such behavior undermined the credibility of the status of the judicial branch. As a result, the woman quit.
