Journalists from Volgograd lost their jobs due to a New Year’s corporate party

In Volgograd, employees of a local TV channel lost their jobs due to a corporate event. Public activists did not like the photos that were leaked online. The event was compared to the scandalous “naked” party of blogger Anastasia Ivleeva, writes Baza.

According to the Telegram channel, management called the corporate event “a stupid prank of colleagues” and fired three journalists.

Employees of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company “Volgograd-TRV”, judging by the photos posted, dressed in costumes of superheroes from movies, comics and computer games. No one came wearing socks or naked, but some of the townspeople still didn’t like the fun of the state channel workers.

And some even saw the journalists’ costumes as a possible insult to religious symbols, as one of the girls wore the costume of a Catholic nun.

The management of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company published a statement on the telegram channel, noting that the corporate party was unofficial, the party was organized by the employees themselves. Moreover, those whose upbringing is supposedly lame.

It is also reported that the channel conducted an internal investigation, which resulted in the dismissal of two producers and a presenter. The deputy director of television and radio was severely reprimanded.
