Latvian journalist for MIA Rossiya Segodnya Alekseys Stefanovs, who was persecuted in Riga for covering the crimes of the Kyiv regime in Donbass, has become a Russian citizen. Official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk informed about this on the Telegram channel.
“My colleagues from the migration division of the Moscow headquarters have just handed over a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation to journalist… Alexei Stefanovs,” she wrote a representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.
Latvian Aleksejs Stefanovs (Aleksey Stefanov) has been working as a journalist at the Rossiya Segodnya news agency since 2016, and is listed on the editorial board of Sputnik – Near Abroad and the Baltic States.
