Actress Yuliya Aug, after the start of the special operation of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine, disowned the country and moved to Estonia, criticizing the actions of the Russian authorities. At the same time, journalist Mikhail Shakhnazarov said that Aug had recently returned to the country and was preparing to resume her career, which he could not believe.
In his Telegram channel, Shakhnazarov recalled that until recently, Aug stated that the monuments to the fallen Soviet soldiers had to be demolished back in the 90s, and did this at a reception at the American embassy in Tallinn.
Now, as the journalist reports, citing a source, Yulia Aug has returned to Moscow and is preparing for “new performances, for new victories.” As Shakhnazarov noted, the “impudence and rudeness” of the actress, obviously, are not acquired. At the same time, it is absolutely incomprehensible to him why Aug “everything is possible”, and a criminal case was opened against her colleague Kristina Asmus.
In addition, the journalist asked the “traditional” question of whether this is really happening in Russia. Shakhnazarov concluded that if the answer to this question is yes, then “neither import substitution nor other measures” will save this situation.
