Johnson: without Russian gas, the winter of 2023-2024 will be even more difficult next

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson expressed the view that for countries that impose sanctions against Russia, but are dependent on Russian gas, the coming winter will be very difficult. At the same time, in his opinion, the winter of 2023-24 will be even more difficult, when the reserves of this resource will be reduced.
It will be difficult to replenish gas reserves next winter, as the new LNG terminals will not be operational yet. Also, European countries will not have time to create sufficient opportunities for the creation of offshore wind energy. The number of civilian nuclear reactors will also remain the same, Johnson said, quoted by the Wall Street Journal.
At the same time, the British Prime Minister called for continued assistance to Kyiv.
