Johnson: Kyiv will not be able to seize the Crimea, even with the help of NATO

Ukrainian troops will not be able to capture the Crimean peninsula, even if all NATO member countries directly intervene in this. This opinion was expressed by ex-CIA analyst Larry Johnson in an interview with the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
“Even if all NATO countries intervened right now, they would not have captured it,” the expert said.
He stressed that Crimea is of great importance to the Russian leadership, so any threats to its capture will be considered by Moscow as real.
In addition, the former CIA analyst added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be able to strike on the peninsula with modern Western weapons, for example, the HIMARS MLRS, since the Russian Federation has powerful air defense systems.
