Jewish repatriation to Israel in 2022 breaks 23-year record

As informs YidInfo portal, citing data from the Jewish Agency, 2022 was a record year for Israel in terms of the number of Jews repatriated to the country.
“Since the beginning of 2022, about 70,000 Jews have repatriated to Israel from 95 countries, which is the highest figure in 23 years,” the statement said.
It is specified that compared with the indicators of the previous 2021, this figure increased by 2.4 times.
Moreover, the largest number of Jews repatriated to Israel from Russia – 37,364 people.
This is followed by Ukraine (14,680 people), North America (3,500 people), France (2,049 people), Belarus (1,993 people) and Ethiopia (1,498 people).
