Japan’s Defense Ministry protests to North Korea after North Korean missile launch
The Japanese Ministry of Defense published a report saying that the country’s authorities “expressed strong protest to the DPRK” in connection with the missile launch.
The rocket, according to the report, traveled at least 500 kilometers and reached a maximum altitude of 50 kilometers. It fell into the Sea of Japan outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone.
The Japanese Coast Guard reported that North Korea allegedly launched a ballistic missile on the morning of January 14, 2024.
