The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged its citizens in China to be more careful due to the growing unrest over the release of water from Fukushima-1. Bloomberg writes about it.

The agency warned that Japanese citizens in China should not speak loudly in their native language and pay special attention to the surroundings when visiting an embassy or consulate.

The statement also recommends staying away from any protests against the release of water at the nuclear power plant and not photographing these protests.

Earlier, a representative of the Japanese Komeito party, Natsuo Yamaguchi, did not go to China due to hints of inappropriateness after the start of the discharge of water at Fukushima-1.

The politician was going to pay a visit to China from August 28 to 30, but Beijing hinted to Tokyo about the wrong time to implement the trip due to the current relations between the parties.
