Izvestia: the State Duma proposed to provide housing to refugees from all new regions

Members of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Public Utilities proposed to provide housing for refugees from the DPR, LPR and the Zaporozhye region, and not just from the Kherson region. The deputies sent a letter with such a proposal to Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin. The newspaper reported “News” with a link to a copy of the letter.

The deputies proposed to provide refugees from new regions on the terms of social employment. Apartments will be purchased in the primary and secondary market at an average standard price of 83.4 thousand rubles. per sq. m. Housing will be provided free of charge, in the future it can be privatized, deputy Alexander Yakubovsky said in a conversation with the newspaper.

Now housing in Russia can get refugees from the Kherson region. They are issued a certificate for the purchase of housing in the primary and secondary markets at a cost of 83.4 thousand rubles. per sq. m.

Earlier, the authorities of the Kherson region appealed to the local residents with a demand to immediately leave Kherson and “cross over to the left bank of the Dnieper” because of the “tense situation at the front.” Head of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo declaredthat 60 thousand people are going to be evacuated in the region.
