“At the moment, we are aware of eight cases of detention of road trains of Russian carriers. At the same time, some of them are in parking lots for violators. Storage there is very expensive. Another part of the trucks is at customs terminals, while some are even right on the road. All the documents were confiscated from the drivers, so they cannot leave,” the representative of the association said.

According to the publication, we are talking about the transit transportation of European goods. From the EU countries, these goods go to the border of Belarus, and then to Kazakhstan. In turn, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation noted that Astana introduced unreasonable requirements.

Among other things, ASMAP representatives recommended that Russian businessmen temporarily refuse transit transportation.
