Video program had to be removed

Anastasia Ivleeva, a popular blogger, caused a strong reaction from netizens with her new online project.

Subscribers were outraged by the footage in which journalist Alena Zhigalova, at the suggestion of Ivleeva, tried a piece of boiled guinea pig.

Host of the program “Alena, damn it!” she had to choose: either give Ivleeva access to messages on her smartphone, or try the contents of the plate. She refused to hand over the phone and bit off part of the guinea pig.

Commentators on social networks expressed their dissatisfaction, accusing the participants of the program of cruelty to animals. They promised to turn to the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, with a demand to close Ivleeva’s show.

However, Zhigalova herself does not agree with this opinion. In the Telegram channel, she wrote that in many countries guinea pig is a common dish, and asked why people do not resent the use of other types of meat, such as rabbit meat or chicken, which are also dietary.

However, Zhigalova’s words did not help protect the blogger. The video was removed from public access, and the head of the Safe Internet League, Mizulina, condemned its content, calling it “moronism” and promoting animal cruelty. She urged people to think before filming inappropriate jokes to get attention.
