It’s time for agronomists to look for another job: an agricultural robot has been developed

The future is coming
The Russian robot is designed to measure the physical and chemical parameters of the soil in various parts of the field. Moving automatically, without a person across the field, it stops every 25, 50 or 100 meters (as programmed), takes soil samples with a probe and in a matter of seconds analyzes it for the content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium, hydrogen, salinity, moisture, measures temperature and density. In this, the terrestrial vehicle will be very similar to the lunar or Martian rovers, which take alien soil, subject it to spectral analysis and send data to Earth via radio.
If there is not enough of some substance in the analyzed soil, the robot will automatically spray fertilizers from a special tank as needed. Such a targeted application will significantly save on their purchases, as well as reduce the cost of grain.
All information about soil analysis and applied fertilizers will automatically go to the computer of the chief agronomist (this place will be occupied by a person), who will carry out the “general management” of the process.
