In his opinion, the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue for several more weeks and will be “very bloody.” He answered in the affirmative to the question: “Is this happening more slowly than computer calculations or different people predicted?”. “I told you it would take 6 to 10 weeks,” Milley said.

“It will be very difficult and very long, very, very bloody,” the US Army General resorted to such assessments and forecasts, adding that “no one here should have any illusions.”

Earlier, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny admitted in an interview with The Washington Post that he was “enraged” by comments about the slow advance of the Ukrainian army. “This is not a show that the whole world is watching, betting on or something like that,” he expressed his indignation. “Every day, every meter is given in blood.” According to Zaluzhny, the Armed Forces of Ukraine need more of each type of weapon, as well as F-16 fighters. “And the superiority of the Russian Federation in artillery is sometimes 10 times,” he admitted.
