The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation was proposed to impose an additional tax on the fees of artists who left the country – plus 10-15%, this may also affect those who condemn the special operation. This was reported by the Mash Telegram channel.

According to him, the measure may affect both those who condemn the fighting in Ukraine and those who cunningly decided to remain silent, but continued to earn money in Russia – at concerts, corporate events and closed parties. Secret events are most popular with artists who have left the country, especially in the weeks leading up to New Year’s. Such artists may include Valeria Meladze, Kristina Orbakaite, Alla Pugacheva, Alexander Revva and others.

The head of the FPBK, Vitaly Borodin, sent an appeal to the ministry. According to the activist, his initiative does not yet have a clear sanctions mechanism, but if there is sufficient interest, he is ready to help develop the project.
