Composer Evzerov told who the TV presenter liked to hang out with
The deceased Svetlana Morgunova is remembered only with kind words by all her friends and colleagues on stage. She was truly known as a kind, cheerful, sociable and gentle person. According to composer Vladimir Evzerov, who often attended general gatherings with Morgunova, the TV presenter was the life of the party, she loved jokes, jokes and champagne.
“But despite her love to hang out, she had one remarkable quality,” says the author of hits for Leontyev, Baskov, Kirkorov, Kobzon and other top-notch artists, “she never discussed her comrades.”
The famous composer recalls an incident on this occasion, which clearly shows what a true friend Morgunova really was to people close to her.
“One day, after Valery Leontyev’s solo concert in the Kremlin, all the iconic people gathered in his dressing room,” recalls Evzerov, “the room there was small, and Valera himself fit in there, I, as the author of many hits that sounded at the concert, and his guests – Alla Pugacheva , Igor Krutoy and just Sveta Morgunova. They drank champagne, had fun, chatted, and stayed up late. Then Pugacheva got ready, and, saying goodbye, said: “That’s it, I’m gone, now you can gossip about me!” To which Morgunova was simply taken aback: “How is that?” Alla turns to her: “Oh, Sveta! Come to my dacha, I’ll tell you everything about our show business!” But Morgunova refused: “This is personal, you can’t do that!”
“Sveta herself never talked about anyone behind their back,” Evzerov continues, “for her it was impossible.” But she was an unsurpassed storyteller, able to bring the company to laughter, literally to colic. And when she told jokes or various funny everyday situations, she always represented it in their faces – she had the strongest comedic talent.
