The scandal surrounding Philip Kirkorov’s concert in Kazakhstan is overgrown with details. The performance of the artist made a fuss not only because of the new eccentric image of the singer – he appeared on stage in a suit, the lower part of which reminded viewers of tights– but also because of the brawl.
A video from that concert, capturing the moment of beating a man, spread across social networks: Kirkorov descends into the auditorium and hits an unfamiliar man with a bouquet in the face. It turned out that the victim was a security guard who was overly zealous in fulfilling his duties.
According to the head of the literary part of the Lermontov Drama Theater Alexei Gostev, it was he who became the unwitting culprit of the incident.
According to Gostev, that evening, fans were not allowed on stage to Kirkorov for security reasons, but he nevertheless decided to approach and waved the bouquet, attracting the attention of the singer. Kirkorov accepted the presented bouquet, but immediately saw that a security guard had attacked the fan.
“I was attacked like a kite by a bodyguard who has known me for many years, – quotes Guest “TV program”. – But in the dark he did not recognize and tried to “unscrew my head.”
According to Gostev, Kirkorov simply saw from the stage that someone attacked his fan, “and expressed his attitude too emotionally.” He added that a bodyguard later approached him and apologized. At the same time, many users on social networks expressed the opinion that Kirkorov himself was wrong in this situation and should not have behaved so aggressively.
