However, on October 4, the director was detained on suspicion of bribery. According to investigators, the head of the educational institution repeatedly issued increased bonuses to teachers and then extorted a percentage as a bribe.

Employees of the Investigative Committee interviewed the entire teaching staff of the school. Many teachers were shocked by what was happening.

– The bonuses were paid on time; of course, there was no need to return interest. I’ve never heard of this. Not a single person in the team complained about anything. Salaries were paid same day, sometimes sent a little earlier, which was very pleasing. Bonuses were paid only as part of incentive payments, everything was recorded in a journal,” explained one of the teachers.

– There will always be those who are dissatisfied, but there were a lot of innovations that were a plus for the school. There was always a good attitude towards the teaching staff. Arnold Leopoldovich developed the school as best he could. He invited various famous performers. Last year, Ekaterina Mechetina, a Russian pianist and soloist of the Moscow State Philharmonic, came to us with her master class. This never happened before in our music schools. He persuaded her to work with children. Even children from other schools were invited to look at the work of a professional. Festivals have also reached a different level. They were at the city level, and in the last two years they became all-Russian,” said another teacher.

However, last year there was an unpleasant situation with a vocal teacher who quit of his own free will in the summer. There are rumors that he filed a statement with the police.
