It became known what exactly the deputy of the Kostroma Duma from the United Russia party Ikhtiyar Mirzoev is accused of. He is the owner of the building that housed the infamous Polygon Club. Recall that 13 people died in a fire in an institution that arose because of a rocket launcher fired at the ceiling.

Recall that Mirzoev stated that he had nothing to do with the operation of the club, but acted only as a landlord. The club itself was run by the Empire company and its leader Natalia Belenogova. Belenogova was arrested at the beginning of the week, she was accused of providing services that do not meet security requirements.

However, Mirzoev was charged under another article of the Criminal Code – 219 part 3 – violation of fire safety rules, which resulted in the death of two or more persons. This means that, according to the investigation, it was the owner of the building who had to control such issues as the condition of emergency exits, the presence of an alarm, the quality of building materials used in the club’s premises. By the way, the maximum term that threatens Mirzoev is less than the potential punishment for Belenogova – 7 years in prison (against 10). Today, the Basmanny Court of Moscow sent Mirzoev under arrest.

Belenogova herself periodically complained to friends and family about the owner of the building, but these complaints were more of a joke.
