It has become more difficult for Russian tourists to obtain visas to China due to trips to Turkey. Tourism expert and traveler Alexey Balyasnikov spoke about this, quoting “Moscow region today”.
According to the specialist, in some cases the inspection period increases to 2 months. “They detained my passport at the consulate, where they must affix a single-entry tourist visa. I was planning a trip for the beginning of November…,” Balyasnikov noted.
Visa agents found out that the deadlines began to increase for citizens who had previously visited Turkish resorts, the analyst added. To obtain a visa, Russians need to clarify in their explanatory note the purpose for which they were in Turkey; they need to include itineraries around the country, as well as information about paying for tickets and hotel accommodations, the expert concluded.
