Director of the Maly Theater Mikhailova: They plan to discharge Solomin from the hospital after the holidays

People’s Artist of the USSR, artistic director of the State Academic Maly Theater of Russia Yuri Solomin, who was hospitalized in November after losing consciousness, remains in the medical facility. The 88-year-old artist’s condition is stable.

The director of the Maly Theater Tamara Mikhailova told TASS that discharge is planned at the end of the holidays. She noted that the theater headed by Solomin continues to work hard.

“The theater gives four performances a day,” she clarified. “All tickets until the end of the holidays are sold out.”
