It became known what Malinin had to give up for the concert in Saratov

Alexander Malinin’s concerts may be canceled in Saratov. The initiator of the ban was deputy Roman Gribov. On social networks he voiced his position: “Malinin must publicly declare his support for the Northern Military District.” And he added that deputies, social activists and simply concerned people spoke out against the concert.

We asked the deputy what was wrong with Malinin.

After statements by Saratov Regional Duma deputy Roman Gribov about the ban on Alexander Malinin’s concerts, representatives of the venue where the artist is scheduled to perform were surprised by this decision, but did not rush to cancel Malinin. They explained to journalists that there is no law on canceling concerts. The artist’s representatives declined to comment.

But Roman Gribov himself explained this matter.

– Why suddenly Malinin? He did not speak out in any way, he was not registered as a foreign agent, and besides, he has the title of People’s Artist of the Russian Federation.

— I have already voiced my position on social networks, but I will say it again. Malinin permanently resides in Germany. In Russia, he probably appears only to earn money. I think this is wrong. In fact, he is a relocant. It’s time to make a decision: if he is for Russia, then let him express his position on the NWO. And on top of everything else, Malinin performed the song “Chervona Kalina,” which is the official anthem of Ukrainian nationalists.

“It’s unlikely that he’s performing this song now.”

— As for the song, it became the anthem of Ukrainian nationalists not today and not yesterday. If Malinin did not know about this, let him make a public apology for performing the song, renounce the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine and support the holding of the SVO, take part in humanitarian actions, as many artists and cultural figures do.

— Humanitarian actions are voluntary.

– Undoubtedly. But many people do this.

— You said that Malinin supposedly lives in Germany. But it is not forbidden for us to live in two countries.

— Living in another country is not prohibited, I agree. But then let him earn money in the country in which he lives. He spends this money there. Let me remind you that such a democratic and free country as Germany banned all Russian culture, ballet, opera, and performances of our artists. Why should we be so kind and go to concerts with people who have chosen other countries to live in?

— Do I understand correctly: if Malinin fulfills all these requirements, then he can perform in Saratov?

– I expressed my position.

— The concert organizers will refuse to hold events if such a decision is made at the legislative level. There is no law that prohibits concerts.

“Today there really is no ban procedure. Deputies are just beginning to develop a corresponding bill, which will make it possible not to provide concert venues for artists who oppose the SVO or have been seen in anti-state performances. We still have to work on this law. It will be accepted promptly, I assure you. And this will affect the holding of similar events, in this case in Saratov.

— It turns out that until the law is adopted, such decisions are made by the directors of concert venues themselves?

– More likely. And the public of our city is against concerts of such artists. I think the people’s opinion needs to be listened to.

— What is the probability that Malinin’s February concert will not take place in Saratov?

— It’s difficult for me to assess what the probability is. We had a similar situation with other artists, and we were able to insist that the concerts be cancelled. We publicly and openly expressed our position. Next, the decisions were made by the managers of the sites where the events were planned.

Thus, we insisted that Diana Arbenina’s concert be cancelled. In March, a concert was planned with the participation of Anna Asti, a participant in the “naked” party. We insist that these people’s concerts should not take place in Saratov.

— Malinin’s representatives haven’t contacted you?

– There is no need for this. What should we discuss?

— Are there any among your fellow deputies who disagree with your position?

– Maybe. But even colleagues from other political parties are ready to support this initiative. I don’t often encounter such unanimity.

— Another point: not all artists are ready to speak out publicly.

— Those who are afraid of losing what they have outside Russia are not ready.

— Of course, people feel sorry for losing real estate abroad, which they purchased with the money they earned. They may also fall under sanctions.

— I really love Moskovsky Komsomolets. And this is not irony,” Gribov ended the conversation.
