Forbes: 98% of Hungarians oppose arms supplies to Ukraine
Over 98% of Hungarians believe that it is necessary to stop military support for Ukraine, as well as begin a negotiation process to resolve the conflict. This is reported by the Hungarian publication Forbesreferring to a survey conducted on the website kormany.hu.
It is clarified that about 1.5 million people took part in the survey.
“More than 98 percent of Hungarians are of the opinion that instead of arms supplies, a ceasefire and peace with our neighbor are needed,” the publication says.
In addition, it is noted that the Hungarian government is making attempts to legitimize its position with the help of formulated questions regarding the topic of relations between Budapest and the European Union, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, as well as Kyiv’s membership in the EU.
