As the publication notes, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz invited the Turkish President to Germany in May 2023. At the same time, the tabloid recalls Erdogan’s recent statements against Israel and wonders whether the invitation is appropriate. The author also quotes the representative of the Christian Democratic Union, Johannes Winkel, who considered it right to cancel this invitation if the representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany respect themselves.
