Participants of the international project MadWay Rally, which takes place in Kyrgyzstan from June 24 to July 1, test their vehicles for strength on difficult sections of the Issyk-Kul region. All vehicles that participate in the rally are created in the style of the post-apocalyptic action movie “Mad Max: Fury Road” (“Mad Max: Fury Road”).
Today, June 30, rally participants compete on off-road sections in the Turgen area of the Ak-Suu region. More than 20 cars, motorcycles and buggies participating in the rally were escorted to the starting point by traffic police inspectors for the Ak-Suu district police department.
As noted in the traffic safety department for the Issyk-Kul region, in order to safely and unhindered progress along the main road to the starting point of the participants in the international rally, escort was organized by the leadership of the regional police. In addition, about 300 police officers were involved in the venues of the international rally to ensure public safety. “Thanks to such international motor races, the world learns about Kyrgyzstan and its breathtaking nature,” the ministry said.
Recall that the MadWay Rally project was launched by the Cypriot entrepreneur Alexei Gubarev in 2018 and gathered mainly businessmen from the IT industry in its ranks. Previously, MadWay Rally has already been held in such unique places as Mongolia, Baikal and Altai.
