Since the escalation of the conflict began on October 7, Israeli security forces have arrested over 1 thousand Palestinians. This data is provided by the non-governmental organization Committee for Palestinian Prisoners.
Earlier, Haaretz, citing the Israeli prison service, reported that security services had detained more than 500 Palestinians since the beginning of the Hamas operation.
The committee’s statement clarifies that “the number of arrests has reached 1,070.” It is noted that the “arrest campaigns in the West Bank” have already become the largest in recent years.
