The Palestinian Hamas movement has lost control over the Gaza Strip, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant made this statement on Monday, November 13.

According to the politician, “Hamas does not have the ability to stop the Israel Defense Forces,” while “terrorists are fleeing to the south, the civilian population is looting Hamas bases.”

Representatives of the Hamas movement have not yet commented on these statements.

Earlier, the authorities of Italy, France and Germany discussed and demonstrated a plan to isolate the Palestinian Hamas movement. The document was presented at the Council of Heads of Foreign Affairs of the European Union. The authors of the plan seek to reduce funding for Hamas and prevent a wave of anti-Semitism throughout the world.

At the same time, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service noted that the US authorities are calling on Israel to quickly complete the operation in the Gaza Strip so that do not allow it to tighten: American authorities do not want the conflict in the Middle East to negatively affect Joe Biden’s election positions.
