Israeli air defense forces reported intercepting two unidentified targets in the sky near the city of Haifa. At the same time, the sirens of the air raid warning system did not work. This was reported by the IDF press service.
The military did not provide details of what happened. Haifa is the country’s third largest city and the largest population center in northern Israel.
A short time later, a similar unidentified object was spotted in the sky over the city of Shfaram. It was also intercepted and shot down by Israeli air defenses.
The city of Shfaram is located fifteen kilometers east of Haifa. Almost two thirds of the population are Israeli Arabs.
