Israel strikes Lebanese military targets

The IDF reported carrying out strikes on Hezbollah military targets in southern Lebanon.

Earlier, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps fired missiles at Israel. The Iranian military indicated that this was a response to the destruction by Israeli aircraft of the Iranian consulate in Syria in early April.
After the Iranian attack, Israel asked the UN Security Council to recognize the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.
