Israel reports the death of 23 Russians after Hamas attack

During the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian group Hamas, 23 Russian citizens were killed, four were missing, reports Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Among the dead were citizens of Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the USA, Nepal and others. On October 20, Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Israel Anatoly Viktorov declared about the death of 20 Russians and eight missing.

Viktorov clarified that among the dead were both civilians and military and law enforcement officers.

Since October 7, fighting has been going on in southern Israel between the Palestinian group Hamas and the IDF. The Israeli army is conducting a retaliatory Operation Iron Swords, striking the Gaza Strip, and also announces a ground operation in the enclave.
