Israel is ready to extend the pause in Gaza by two days if Hamas hands over a list of the names of 20 hostages to be released by midnight. Israeli TV channel 12 reported this on Monday, November 27, citing a certain political source.
Meanwhile, the White House was quick to say it supported further extending the humanitarian pause in Gaza beyond the additional two days. Washington claims that the solution to this issue depends on Hamas.
The statement from Tel Aviv came after reports from Hamas that the agreement with Israel to extend the humanitarian pause has already been achieved. According to media reports, this information was confirmed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.
Russian Foreign Ministry Speaker Maria Zakharova, meanwhile, noted that Moscow positively evaluates the goodwill gesture of the Palestinian radical group Hamas to release a hostage with a Russian passport. Russia will continue to strive release of the remaining Russiansremaining in contact with all parties involved, the official assured.
